I have been painting for as long as I can remember. For me, art is a space for exploration, transformation, and a profound connection with the self. Throughout my life, I have explored different paths of inner growth, including practices, studies, and experiences that have allowed me to expand my consciousness and deepen my connection with the Divine. This personal journey naturally finds its way into my creative process.

 

Born in México, I have been based in Ecuador for the past 31 years.

 

I studied International Trade in Monterrey, Mexico; however, I have always felt deeply drawn to painting and the arts. I later continued to enrich my artistic training through courses and experiences with renowned Ecuadorian artists, including master painter Jaime Zapata.

Since 1998, I have exhibited my work in various spaces and galleries in Quito, Ecuador, including Marsuarte Gallery, Art Design Boutique and Gallery, and Mtga Accesorios at the JW Marriott Quito.

• June 2023 — Solo exhibition “Regalos de Gaia”, Quito Tenis y Golf Club, El Condado, Quito, Ecuador. More than 30 works exhibited over a period of two months.

• May 2025 — Solo exhibition “El Cielo en la Tierra”, Marsuarte Gallery, Cumbayá, Ecuador. More than 35 works exhibited for one month.

• January 2026 — Featured artist and contributor in the U.S. publication Arts to Hearts Magazine, Issue 11.

• May 2026 — Group exhibition at Medina Gallery, Rome, Italy.

• June 2026 — Group exhibition at Artio Gallery, Tribeca, New York, United States.

• June 2026 — Featured in Artio Magazine: The Art and Culture Magazine.

• July 2026 — Group exhibition at Ceron Studio, Quito, Ecuador.

• August 2026 — Digital exhibition at the Women in Art Biennale, London, presenting four works, represented by Artio Gallery.

• August 2026 — Group exhibition at Cerón Studio, Quito, Ecuador, alongside five other artists. Twelve works were exhibited for one month.

• October 2026 — Participation in Modern Art Masters in Complex du Louvre at the Carrousel du Louvre, Paris, France, curated by Heinz Payner of Paks Gallery, Germany and Vienna.

 

My work is the result of years of experimentation and exploration. I work with pigments, textures, and diverse materials, exploring the possibilities that emerge from the encounter between matter, gesture, and intuition. Each layer develops through a process of experimentation, transformation, and discovery, accompanied by a profound inner journey.

My life translates into art. Both moments of fulfillment and moments of challenge become creative matter and opportunities for transformation. I believe that every human being comes to Earth with a unique essence and the possibility of leaving a personal imprint. Painting therefore becomes my way of expressing and sharing what often cannot be explained through words.

For me, the Earth is an extraordinary school of dualities and, at the same time, a sacred space that provides us with everything we need to live and evolve. This is why I feel a profound need to honor it through my work: to listen to its presence, recognize its energy, and express its subtle messages. My studies and experiences related to shamanism have also deepened the way I understand and honor Pachamama, which I perceive as a source of life, wisdom, and connection.

In my paintings, I seek to represent the visible and invisible richness of nature, as well as the intangible energy that connects us to it. I am interested in exploring the union between matter and spirit, between the tangible and the essential, between our roots and that which inspires us to expand.

I aspire for my work to be an invitation to pause, contemplate, and connect; to recognize that beyond what our eyes can perceive, there exists a network of energy and life that connects us all. My intention is to capture the invisible and transform it into an experience that can be felt.
